black-and-white fountain: black-and-white fountain, founded in 2012 by writer and oral historian Saaz Aggarwal, is a small but high-impact independent press dedicated to Sindhi heritage, Partition narratives, and the global Sindhi diaspora. Our books combine literary quality with historical depth, preserving voices that might otherwise be lost. This blog traces our journey — books, launches, essays, and moments of rediscovery. That last line (“This blog traces our journey…”) creates continuity between the new and older posts.
